Hi there and welcome to the forum!

I moved your post over to the for sale section due to the links to possible rust free cars that might go missed in the other topic.

The V6's do indeed kick butt! The 505 Turbo just has more potential, easier and cheaper than the V6 is all... smile.gif I love both though.

As for your other ride - wouldn't that make it a Legacy GT? I wasn't aware of them offering the turbo in the 2.5i package - but it could be a States VS Canada thing. Nice cars. It's funny how many people with Peugeot's end up with Subaru's or Volvo's when they go 'mainstream'...

I prefer the V6, it's better suited with a slushbox behind it the the turbo is.
I'm sure with the stick the turbo is more fun, though.

Well I guess it's all a matter of preference... smile.gif

I Love the V6 with the 5-sp, beautiful linear power and you can just make the car dance if you need to on a track / road. The Turbo is much more seamless with the auto. By the time the auto shifts down, the gear and the boost hit at the same time and it just rockets away.

The turbo lag with a 5-sp is very apparent and it's much harder to do tight driving competitions while trying to compensate for lag. Even for everyday driving - having the instant power of the V6 is nicer to drive.

I'm hoping to offset a lot of the disadvantages of the turbo though with my build up of the bottom end and the turbo selection. So it should be much more fun than a stock N9TE.
