Re: [Peugeot-L] 505 temp guage

I have one wagon in which the gauge reads between 10 and 11 o'clock routinely. I bought in Boston, drove home to Maine, then to Vermont for some initial work by Jim, The (pretty-darn-good) Mechanic. As petrified as I was about driving it that way, I never mentioned it to Jim!! Before I left Vermont, I stopped by to see Brian Holm. He had one of those heat sensor tools. He checked several points on the heating system for me, and all were just fine. I drove it for a year without incident. We have to assume that the gauge was its own problem. But that is the only one out of six that I have run for periods of time. SO, definitely, one should find out what is causing a high read on the gauge!
