AND thee is a world of difference between the 2.2 wagon and the turbo wagon.
Turbo is hard, stiff, well stuck, but the tail will sweep around with power,
the oposite for the ZD.
BTW a few days ago I had to do an emergency lane change when I found a Jeep
stopped on the t pike middle lane after cresting a hill, I was going about
60/65 and luckily I was in the turbo which handled it with aplomb, I could
feel the tires bite and grip with not even a fish tail, not sure if I could
have avoided it with the 2.2. An example in my book of crash avoidance.

I think the wagon is more stable, probably due to its longer wheelbase. The
sedan handles quick changes in direction better though.
The sedan seems to tolerate irregular road surfaces better, probably due to
its independent rear suspension. The semi-trailing arm geometry also makes
it possible to do some pretty cool stuff with the rear end by lifting the
throttle during understeer.
