Ken, an 18 to 24" extension and an 11mm or 7/16 swivel socket reaches those
nuts fairly easily. I know you're worried about stripping the nut on
reinstallation, but if you start them by hand without forcing them on, they
will go back on easily. Since it is highly recommended to replace the slave
and master together, the only hose you disconnect is the one at the master
cylinder reservoir and remove the master and slave as a unit. The pressure
hose can then be easily removed and reinstalled on the bench.
