I have to admit that's it's been a long time since I worked on them, and I guess it was the same transmission in the BMW's that had the torque converter drain plug. Mersedes autos also used to have one. It disappoints me to think that Peugeot would not spec that on their torque converters as it's such a useful feature. Sorry. That was the nice thing in the beginning of my career as a mechanic as I was only an Alfa tech. When you begin to work on everything, it all blends together.

  Gary, I have never seen a drain plug on a Peugeot torque converter.
