Sounds like its not the ECU afterall. I'd put a test-light on the power feed to the Fuel Pump, and also to the +12 wire running to one of the injectors. Tape the lights where you can see them while driving. If either one of these go out or drop in voltage (dim) too much when the problem first occurs, then you will have a better clue. The +12 injector feed should not go away until the key is off, and the Fuel pump feed will only go off a second or two after the engine stops running. (if it goes off as SOON as the engine starts to die, then you'll know it's the fuel pump circuit and/or relay)

Could just be a tiny little bit of corrosion on one of the relays.
