[Peugeot-L] Re: squealy 505 blower motor temp fix?

I remember trying to oil with limited success, as the noise reappeared shortly thereafter, so I just bought a new unit. This was several years ago.

I do remember showing the thing to the import parts place, and the guy at the counter looked at the brushes and said that they were similiar to the ones in a Japanese car (I can't remember which, maybe Toyota or Nissan or something). The brushes were a bit wider, and they needed to be whittled down. FWIW.
