Re: [Peugeot-L] N9TE Turbo Replacement?

changing a N9T turbo is my least favorite procedure when it comes to a 505.

get some good 12 point 10mm crescent wrenches (long and short). there's one nut in particular that's on the bottom row, second from the back which is just straight evil (especially if the stud decides to come out with it).

there are 2 8mm hex bolts which hold the bottom of the turbo to the oil line / motor mount bracket. one of these bolts you wont have direct access to because the motor mount is in the way. if you can get your hands on a good ball-end 8mm 3/8's hex socket, and its not too tight you should be able to get it out that way. otherwise, i'd suggest supporting the motor, and removing the motor mount. that will let you access it without trouble.

remember to replace the rubber o-rings on the top and bottom oil mounts.

and if you dont have a new exhaust manifold gasket, i've used copper coat in the past which works really well (being exh. mani gaskets are NFP). let us know how it goes.
