Re: [Peugeot-L] 307 losing power

Always check the small things first. Does it seem to lose power under a load (such as full throttle), or does it just come and go by itself? Ignition systems with problems usually break down under load, but will respond normally when driven more gently. If it's under load only, then check plugs, wires, coil, etc. If it's at high speeds only, then maybe your fuel filter or fuel pumps. You could hook up a fuel pressure gauge of the correct range, and drive the car and observe the gauge reading when the problem occurs.

i have a 307 HDi 110 2.0l and at times it loses power for some reason?   it will then pick up as normal and run ok. i have heard it could be   the Air flow meter or high pressure fuel pump fault. has this happened   to anyone else?

does anyone know of a electronic reader that you can by or make to   read the codes from the ECU?

  thanks andyh
