i'm not sure about the stx's, but i know the turbo's had the in tank
pre-pump 85-88. then the 88's had no intank pre-pump, and (in some
cases) it caused performance problems so there was a TSB to convert
back to the old style tank. (the 89's had the in-tank pump)
