If these relays are getting scarce and can't be rebuilt, then remember that they're just a safety device to turn off the fuel pumps when the engine stops running, e.g. in an accident so that there's less chance of a fire. You could just make a jumper wire to plug into the relay's muti-pin connector so that when the ignition is turned on, it powers up the consumers that the relay supplies. I'm pretty sure it only gets B+ when the ignition is on, so there should be no problems draining the battery. You then make a jumper that has one male spade going to the B+ terminal in the connector ( unless there's a separate terminal for B+ in the start position as then you would need two male spade connectors), and then you run as many wires as is necessary for the amount of consumers fed by this relay to that single (or double) male spade terminal. You needn't worry about the wire with the small connector as that's the signal from the coil that allows the tachymetric relay to
function. Check me on this with a good wiring diagram as it's been 25 yrs.since I fooled with them. Remember that you're eliminating an important safety device; and that you'll need to turn off the ignition whenever the engine is not running, although I don't think it will affect your accessory position. You could install an inertia switch in the fuel pump circuit so that your fuel pumps will shut off on impact. If anyone has better info to further the correctness of this mod, please let us know. I wouldn't advocate this except in circumstances where you have no other choice. You could always carry one ( a jumper) for emergencies on the road, or use it for a diagnostic tool.
