I'm going down the road, confident. Brake lights now work, Cruise
control working, windows rolling up and down smooth and quick-- (lots
of RAIN-X in the rails).
AM radio actually sounds dense and clear, until I hit a bump. STATIC
CITEE! But that is not what I'm writing about.
I'm in the process of changing out the environmental instrument cluster
controlling the fan volume and temp variant switch. It was in the low
60'sF, today and I travelled nearly over 150 miles from 2800 feet and
dropped to 1300 feet in seven miles, (and back up again), where there
are no controlled intersections for about 110 miles this car doesn't
stop. What I love about Pug's environmental control is the split
weather. Blast or bathe your self in heat, from the bottom, while
keeping cool up top. This is luxury. Who figured out this concept?
Most and all the cars surround you in one temperature mode, including
auto temp controlled environment. But in every Peugeot I've had, they
have had this spectacular feature. (The only car I own that my wife is
happy! (she's not happy in either the Outback or the Grand Marquis,
weather wise)
Great cars, with other great features, but nothing compares to the
working Peugeot cabin environment-- toasty on the bottom and cool up
top. I hope some of you know what I'm talking about. But there is a
slight glitch when the system is not working correctly, and I'm hoping
the new instrument cluster addresses this issue I'm currently having.
Can anyone share or tell me WHAT"S UP WITH THE HEAT BLASTING CYCLES????
Clocking at about 65 mph plus, all of a sudden this huge blast of hot
air seem to come from every where. It comes out of all the vents where
seconds before cool air was coming through. This happened the rest of
the day. If anyone could tell me what this means, and how do I remedy
this new menace, it'd be immensely appreciated.
