When I had my first drive in my 505 Turbo last year--I started it up, then I bought it (it was cheap) then drove it home, I was completely sold on Peugeots from that moment. I have driven Renaults and Citroëns but as far as I am concerned, no one car I've even driven/ridden in before of any marque (SAAB, Volvo, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc) has the (quirky) class and charm of the 505. I drove over a pretty foul "paved" (broken, twisty, bumpy, narrow) road I know only too well at 70-80 kph in my Corolla. At 120 kph, the Pug handled like a silent fighter jet on cushioned rails. I like my other cars for other reasons, but the Peugeot is just something special.
