Peugeot's first FWD PASSENGER car was in 1965 with the 204. Peugeot had been building FWD vehicles long before then in utility vehicles such as the DB4 in 1950 ish.
I heard that the Indy museum boast that they have every car that one the races. Peugeot won the first Indy 500 race in 1913, 1916 and 1919, Not a Peugeot to be seen in the museum. They do have some copys of the photos taken. A friend brought one of the 1913 winner.
