Be glad you don't have an air bag!

Below is an excerpt from something I found while researching the cause of a "Brrraaaap" sound interrupting the county council meetings we video tape. It turns out a couple of the council members had PDA's that use the GSM technology, the new Sprint phones and Blackberry PDA's I believe were the brands.
Text messaging and when the tower is looking for the phone are when the RF is the strongest, hence the sound occurring before the phone rings.
