Watch out for cheap jobber parts though. I just had my Paris-Rhone A14N88
fitted with a new OEM regulator 'cause the jobber regulator went TU after
less then 5000 miles. Brushes wore out. Looking at it now... sticker
says: "IP 125-1 443 CN" Tested the stator - spins true. Strangness.

cause any problems? If you can't find already rebuilt items, you could have
an electric shop rebuild your old alternator or starter. You need to ask
why these guys insist on brand new parts ( or maybe just brand new
prices ), and you need to insist back that rebuilt is what you want.
