thanx for the advice,
how about the flywheel, because i heard the do have different flywheels in the sense that one is attached with 6 bolts and the other one with 8 bolts ?   i want to keep the 82 model flywheel and starter because on the 84 model i have a bad flywheel and starter.   my concern is that i dont want to pull the 82 model engine out and notice that i cant keep the flywheel and starter because is different that the 84 model ,do u understand my concern ?   thanx for the availability

Very early 82s have the 81 engine. If the oil line to the head by the manifold terminates on the same side of the engine (not wrapping around to the oilfilter base) on both engines, the engines will interchange easily--you will just have to match the water pump to the radiator.
