Greetings,
OnMy 1988 505 V6 has developed a gasoline leak at one of the fuel pump
connectors (the positive one, I believe). The gas seeps out at the rate
of one drop per second with the engine running. The connector post -
with its associated wire firmly attached - can be rotated some 20
degrees back and forth inside the pump. Gasoline leak rates vary as a
result of these rotations.
Is this something that can be repaired, or is new fuel pump necessary?
