I have just run into a 2004 Volvo S60R with 15K miles on it. I have
a question for the eperienced importers among you. This car was
imported by and individual and now bears proper state license
plates. Are there any further restrictions or qualifications on such
a vehicle import? I guess by that I mean is there anything that
would distinguish this car from a dealer imported automobile? All of
the vehicle emission criteria have evidently been met and the car has
the standard American dash readouts with MPH and gallons for fuel so
it would seem to me to be okay to purchase it, but I thought I would
check with the experts among us, shifty lot that we Peugeot owners
are.
