Come to the land of Oz. Ford Australia have released a rear wheel drive (also available in AWD) seven seater called the Territory. It matches in every respect the abilities of the 505 SW8. It's handling and steering are superior to anything comparable from the other side of the Pacific, and it's selling gangbusters here.
I'm planning to replace my 1991 505 SW8 with one. It took 14 years, but finally there is something on the market that can carry furniture, drives well, is safe and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

It is getting harder to source the parts to maintain these great vehicles
and the time will come when I have to part with it and buy a replacement.
Has anyone found a viable alternative replacement for carrying 7/8 people
around in comfort, with plenty of boot space and that doesn't cost a small
fortune and drive like a mini-bus?
