I use a couple tie wraps to hoist the lower hose up a bit.
It is a design problem that gets worse as the hoses get saggy

Hi all, changed both belts (steering and water pump/alternator) on my
V6 a week ago, noticed coolant leaking a couple of days later,
finally got round to checking it out properly today. Discovered that
the steering pump pulley has worn a small hole in the lower radiator
hose. Western Hemishperes has none in stock. Does anyone know where I
can get a new one? or know of a quick fix for the hose so my
girlfriend can at least use the car till I can find one??
