The directional signal unit on my 84 505 XN6 STI often makes a kind of
buzzing sound that, best described, sounds like a geiger counter
registering radioactive activity. If I put the left or right signal on
it goes away, but often in the resting position, it starts to buzz and
it is quite annoying. In spite of the sound the lights, brights, horn
and directionals work fine.
Questions are:
1. Is there a way to stop the buzzing without having to get a new unit?
2. Maybe it is a geiger counter, so should I wear a lead driving suit?
Only question #1 was serious.
Thanks,
Ken
