Sorry for the mess
The first retorque on the pre 86 XN6 head gasket should happen between 600 and 1000 mi Where as the 86 and newer XN6 headgasket "never" requires retorquing

What is "qt 600-1000"? I think in ft-lbs, but I am happy to learn the "qt" system!
