I usually start by lifting the carpet at the door sill
pull out the felt underlay
vacuum soak up whatever

My 84 505 sedan had a leaky clutch master that has resulted in a
pretty stinky driver's carpet. I realize that carpet replacement is
the best method to deal with this problem, but I was wondering if
anyone out there had any suggestions as to how to clean the carpet
where it is as opposes to removing the seats, console and the state of
Alabama from the car.
Also, is it possible to but the carpet new from Peugeot or one of its
subsidiaries?
