#1 cause of these kind of symptoms I've seen is intermittent electrical
problems.
I personally experienced 2 cars (both ZN3J equipped) where the main Jetronic
supply relay developed a bad connection and caused similar problems. This
relay is located on a bracket that sits above the fusebox. It's worth a
check....
