My 505 Turbo SW8 is equipped with Michelin Alpin all four wheels. I actually
like them better then the Toyo Observe I had on the ZDJL wagon.
I also recently had a chance to try the four Blizzaks (which I bought from
Paul Hughes) on my 405S. Quiet and smooth on dry, pull great in the slush.
All I can add is that, especially when buying tires, we get what we pay for.
I am also from the put-'em-on-all-four school, and believe that wider and
softer may be the way to go on sand, but not on ice and snow.
