> To the problem at hand, on the passenger side of the engine at the
bottom rear there is a casting with a T and a short hose that is
spewing out coolant. The hose is less than a foot long. What is it
(what does it attach to)? Thanks. Rulon
The casting with a T is called a coolant outlet manifold. There
should be 4 hoses attached to it. 2 hoses, one larger than other are
routed to front of the car and attached to the radiator. Then there
should be one long heater hose (braided with metal) route over the
exhaust manifold and attached to the firewall (bulk head). Then
there is a foot long hose (I think this is what you are talking
about) that attached to a broze colored coolant pipe which runs
across the exhaust manifold but attached to the valve cover. I think
the part number you need is 1351.65 if yours is made after 9/88 and
1351.59 if made before 8/88. It's called water manifold to pipe hose.
