Hi,
I am new to this list, and I would like to introduce myself first. I
live an study in Geneva for the time being, but I consider Athens my
home, while I was born in Chicago and my university is in London! I own
a beautiful Peugeot 307cc that I would like to keep for many years to
come.
My question is for the Americans on the list: Is it feasible to bring a
new Peugeot to the US and service it like you would in Europe? Where
would the garage get parts, and would they be more expensive? Also,
would I be able to find a garage who would be able to deal specifically
with problems/servicing of the folding roof? Finally, are there any
problems with importing a car that isn't normally sold in the US (e.g.
safety standards, etc)?
Thanks,
Stefan
