During a recent Atlanta storm, I aquaplaned as I was coming off an
interstate highway ramp and the front end of my wagon hit a kerb,
blew a tire, and buckled the undercarriage framebody. The engine
seemd to escape any damage and continued to run until I switched it
off. I can't afford to repair it even if it was possible to
straighten it.
"Jacques Peugeot" was as dear a friend as any peugeot loyalist will
testify - I diligiently kept it going after many obstacles - this one
being the final blow - it seemed at times that it was be the last of
the Mohicans - the only one left in Altanta. I purchased it almost
new in Los Angeles and it lived a full-life in Atlanta.
No rust- white with blue cloth seats with warmers built in, recently
re-built transmission and rebuilt ZDJL 2.2 gas nontrubo
fuel injected engine,(George at Sunset Coachmen) water pump,
starter, transmission cooler, new power steering lines, new brakes,
new ties on exhaust system, new oxygen sensor,new air & oil filters,
all three seats, spare tire, spare belts, engine mount, power door
locks and windows working, as is radio, power antenna etc.
Rather than burying it or crushing it, I welcome any interest in
selling it whole or for parts or as a trade for a reliable car for a
college-bound child.
