All your tests are between the alternator, engine and battery, none to the
body. On the 504, there is a ground lead from the block to the battery
mounting bracket which often breaks or is corroded and if equipped with
external regulator, there should also be a lead between the alternator
housing and the base of the regulator on the firewall behind the engine
which often breaks
