Todd,
Slow warmup could be due to the fan being locked down -- it should
turn freely with the engine off, and be stoppable with your fingers
at idle until it is fully warmed up. It should have an 88C
thermostat clamped into the upper hose.
It should already have dual horns, but the switch is not progressive
on a '68 to bring them in individually. I have new horns if you need
one or both. I may have a good set of original belts. Or, you may
be able to switch to early 504 belts which retract, if there is room
at the base of the B pillar for the reel. I think there is, but it's
been a long time since I've thought about that. The later 504 and
505 belts with the recessed reels might weaken the sill structure to install.
