Gary,
I'm with you, Brother! Just imagine trying to tell
someone that a properly maintained Yugo is actually
very reliable and quite satisfying to drive! Only
those few folks who still cherish and drive them
understand. Somehow people develop these strange
ideas and then the myth is perpetuated. Properly
maintained British cars don't leak oil any worse than
any other car. And, their electrical problems aren't
unique to them either. Just about any 40+ year old
car is going to have corroded connections. Yeah,
people don't seem to understand. Then they are
dumbfounded when their beige automatic toyota spamry
needs work. Go figure!
