Possible idea: the auxiliary air valve, mounted on top/rear of the valve
cover gave me similar problems once. Would start cold then die within a few
minutes & not restart. I've forgotten what I did but essentially
disconnected the two hoses, linked them together with duct tape both with
and without air being able to pass; in one of those conditions the xn6 would
run. Cleaning the old air valve with carb cleaner seemed to fix the problem
- its been several years and I haven't had to install the new one yet. (Oh,
a lot of other things were tried before I got to the air valve!).
