I have one in my Citroen and had one in my 504, both Ducellier and they are great just
make sure not to leave the key on too long or it will burn up, and use a new coil it will
make a difference.
On the 504 the distributor shaft had to have the collar which is the low stop for the rotor
ground down in order to get the magnet on the shaft it took about 5 minutes with the
bench grinder and the rotor still seated at exactly the right height
If you have points in now make sure the dwell is 55 and it will probably smooth out also
make sure the engine is timed with the pin in the hole, make sure you are rotating the
dist. In the right direction to make the light come on
