maybe its not what you were expecting, but I've bought and sold many
older cars (I like them, ok? :) and everytime I bought a car that 'felt'
right, it was a good purchase.
so now, after a going over to see if everything works (don't buy a car
with something broken, even if its just a window that does not go down or
a seat that does not adjust, its a sign of neglect) sit in the car. close
your eyes and feel it. does it feel right? does it smell right? would
you like the car enough to fix it and keep driving it for years?
and older car will need manteniance. lots of it. if you love the car you will
gladly repair it and be happy to drive it. if it breaks it will be a challenge
and a fun weekend to fix it. if you don't like the car it will turn into a
piece of junk in no time and leave you stranded and broke.
