We are in luck there. Only cars coming on the road after 2005 need a levelling/washer system. Older cars don't need that (when fitted Xenon aftermarket).
I've been told that the light coming from the bulb is in the same angle as the H4 bulb. It's just brighter. Then again, have you ever seen those biemers and benzels driving with Xenon, they sure can blind you. Finally, the Xenon lights consume less power so saving on gas mileage and are not as warm as conventional. When I get my set I'll send ya some info.

I'd love to see some objective proof (not marketing materials) of this. As far as I can tell you're talking about two radically different light sources (filament versus gas discharge) which will yield different patterns of light, which would thus require different reflectors.

Further, those retrofit kits won't include any sort of self-leveling systems that OE systems are required to have (to prevent oncoming or leading traffic from being blinded).
