Re: [Peugeot-L] saving my 405 wheels

Also open your search for Ford, Saab, Audi, Alfa 4x108 wheels. They are plentiful. I used Audi 4x108 wheels on my junk 405 in a pinch...keep in mind that the centerbore on the Peugeot is larger than the Audi, so seating is not great, but they worked for moving the car around and keeping it up off the suspension.

For dragging the hulks up onto a flat bed, they'd work too. If whomever is towing it is using a traditional tow truck, they always have wheel carts so the car isn't on it's own wheels anyway, so 4x108 wheels that don't fit perfectly should still work.

Common 4x108 wheels include:
Pre-Mazda Ford Escort, Fox-body Ford Mustang/Capri, Thunderbird/Cougar, Fairmont, etc.
Saab 99/900.
Audi 4000 Quattro (Quattro only. Non-quattro are 4x100 wheels.), Pre-92 80/90.
Alfa 105 platform, which includes Duetto/Spider and Bertone Coupes (Juniors, GT, GTV, GTV2000, etc) Alfettas, Milanos and GTV-6s will NOT work.

Good luck.
