OnWhadaya mean by "clunkiness"?
If it's little front end clunks only at low speeds on minor pavement irregularities, check the cup-shaped "washer" (if that's what they are) at the top of the front struts. If you can wiggle it by hand, take half a dozen office-size rubber bands and wrap them as tightly as you can around the base of the cup.
I have no idea why this works.
