Hello,
I have some worn out shifter linkage parts in my 84 505GL. Is it
possible to get replacements any more?
The big problem is the rod that goes forward & backwards - it's about
6 inches long. It has a cap on each end with a nylon(?) insert, which
fits over a metal ball. The nylon is all worn out at both ends, and
the only thing holding the rod onto the car is zap straps & string. I
assume I will need to get the whole rod.
If anyone knows of a potential source for these, please let me know.
I can get under the car and take some pictures to clarify which parts
are needed...
