OnOnIt is nonsense to these people because the government forces them to keep their cars tuned up and saving money on gas. OnOnIt is also nonsense because now that the car is tuned, they don't have to call a tow truck in the middle of winter for a no start. ( that one costed me, I own a towing operation) OnOnIt is also nonsense because the exhaust systems have to be repaired, we don't get to enjoy open exhaust noise in the middle of the night anymore. OnWant me to keep on going?

  You mention the term "nonsense" twice in referring to smog testing. I On  am a licensed smog tech here in California, and I am interested in   learning more about how you arrived at the conclusion that the   program or parts of it are nonsense.
