Got into Peugeots in 2000 while looking for non-minivan vehicle for my
growing family. My brother-in-law new a guy who drove a SW8, and
thought it fit me well - eccentric....
I grew up in the company of Triumphs (GT6, Spitfire) and Rovers
(TC2000, P5 3litre) thanks to my father, and we frequently visited
International Motors in Arlington, VA. to check out the cars (usually
some 504s on the lot).
Bought my '91 SW8 in 2001 from a guy in Trenton, NJ. 'Spose to be for
the wife (ha!!!), but she had eyes on a relative's Previa that was for
sale (actually, a pretty cool minivan...). So the SW8 is my daily
driver, and has 112k on it (and is in my garage getting new rear brakes).
Not satisfied with owning only a single Peugeot (seems to be an issue
with many on this list :), I bought a 1989 Turbo Sedan in March 2004.
It's in good shape, and I'm just waiting for Spring to get it back on
the road.
Thinking about a 505 TD, and playing around with Bio-diesel...
