It's that time of the year already? Ok, here I go.
My name is Tae Jin Park, also known as TJ. Lynnwood, WA. Hooked on
to Peugeot when I first saw a megazine ad of a brand new Mi16, red,
back in 1988. My first car was a 89 black 405S back in high school
and then really got into it when I discovered this PCNA on internet
in late 90's. My addiction was so severe I once owned more than 10
Peugeots at one given time, some running some not from the rare 504
V6 5 speed Coupe (rust bucket, bought sight unseen and shipped from
East cost and ended up abandoning it somewhere...) to several 405s
and just about every modern Peugeot models in between including
several 504s, 505s and 604s. I even got into the buying, fixing and
selling business (to support my overgrown hobby), parted several
405s and still have lots of used parts for sale. Just finished off
selling remaining inventory of NOS parts on ebay that I bought from
a retired Peugeot repair shop in Seattle several years ago. My
speciallity is the 405. Have worked on more than 15 405s (friends,
fellow local members etc) in past 10 years or so from complete
bodywork, overal paint job to full engine rebuilds and interior
restoration etc. I am pretty confident to say "I know this car".
My other interest is Alfa Romeo. Currently own 95 164 Q4 (grey
market import, 1 of 3 4WD models in US) and 94 164LS (FWD US model).
I also owned a 94 Mazda Miata for 4 years on a lease and enjoyed
every moment with it and was a member of Miata club of NA. It's a
damn best car I ever owned. Thing just won't break down. Simple pure
joy.
My profession is computer networking and web server administration,
heavily orientated on Microsoft windows platform. (Can you believe I
was raised on Apple II and was Powermac addict once?)
