The nice little 86 GL 5-speed is now in the hands of a local friend.
A better solution than I could imagined!
Still remaining:
#1. 88 N9TEa auto, silver/gray leather in good condition @ 170K
miles. Clean interior; no cracks in glass, dash. No rips/splits in
seats: a nice W.Washington car!
Recent c/head o/haul plus new hoses, w/pump and radiator. Runs and
drives great. The trannny pump has been noisy [at initial startup
only].It's had this condition for a long time, and this does not seem
to affect it's performance. All fluids clean/changed regularly. The
car has sone sheetmetal damage to the L/R quarter panel.There are a
few other minor dings. Make offer.
#2. 88 N9TEa auto with excellent powertrain/running gear; needs turbo
charger [smokes when hot]. Lots new: rotors, struts, radiator,
w/pump. NO coolant/overheating problems since new headgasket, hoses,
etc].This also is a strong running car; however it has an ugly
oxidized exterior/cracked w/shield, although straight [and
restorable] or makes for a great parts car. Make offer. Good spares
into the future galore! I must find a new home for these two
soon...$1,500 will take both!
