Hello Chris !
The shifter of the 3-speed-tranny till 1986 is ONE piece from inside to
the bottom, fixed downside with a nut.
Most parts of the shifter are gone at Peugeot Germany since about 2-3
years, so only NOS or used parts will help :-/

Hello everyone. I have to replace the spring which holds the shifter
chrome piece that you have to move to shift out of park because it is
loose and rattles. I have a 1985 505 S Estate with XN6 and 3 speed
auto transmission. I cannot see any screws in the handle, so any
help would be greatly appreciated.
