The Venturi was/is (more on that later) an extremely well built French super car. Most models have featured the PRV, one I believe featured the N9TE.

The models ranged from the 200,210,260,Atlantique 300 & 400GT, and 400 Challenge. They company changed hands several times and was once known as MVS Venturi as well as Ventury. I found a USA brochure for a 260 or 200 that a company was attempting to import. I was never able to find out more.

For those who use peer-to-peer systems a search for "tv review venturi 300 & 400 GT" as well as "best motoring super battle 93" will turn up Venturi video content.

Please check you fair use laws before downloading..YMMV.

The Discovery Channel featured a spot on the Atlantique 300 & 400 GT Trophy that was amazing.

In the Best Motoring video (in Japanese) the 400 Challenge drag races a Lamborghini Diablo and loses only by a second. These cars are smoking fast.

There is a road test put out by a Lotus magazine comparing the Esprit vs a 1992 MVS VENTURI 260. http://www.lotusespritworld.com/ERoadtests/SEvVent_clascar.html

The Atlantique 300 vs. the Esprit V8

Esprit vs. Renault A610 vs. Venturi 260

In all reviews they speak highly of the Venturi models.

You will also be able to purchase the new Venturi Fetish sports car in the USA for approx $600+ soon. It's all electric too. Once again the marketing attempts of the French tend to baffle me.

Subject: [Peugeot-L] Venturi Atlantique 300 & 400 GT

Recently I found a Sales Brochure from back when in Europe ( France-Germany-England) that I had picked up on the Venturi Atlantique 300 and Venturi 400 GT, post Venturi 260 that was built back in 1992.

This was the newest version that was available in 1997 with the PRV 3 Litre 12 valve version in the Atlantique at 281 BHP with a Single Large Turbocharger and Intercooler.
The Venturi 400 GT was a Twin Turbocharger version of the same PRV, but with 24 valves and 408 BHP at your beck and call. Both very slick and brilliant in design and looks.
It was raced with some degree of success in GT class in the late 1990's into early 2002.
Absolutely stunning inside, leather, wood and function. It reminds me of those carefree days I spent in Europe while I was not doing business.

Peter
