The carpet on my 84 505 sedan is a victim of clutch master leakage. I
had thought of washing it, but the rug is badly worn and actually
starting to decompose on the driver's side. I found a later model 505
at the wrecker (the later model dash and steering wheel). The carpet
looks to be the same. I am thinking of removing it tomorrow. Might
anyone know if this carpet will fit in my earlier style 505? The
heater vents look to be the same.
I figure if I pull the seats and the console I can get the carpet out
in one piece and not have to hassle washing a dirty, ragged carpet to
get rid of the brake fluid smell.
