[Peugeot-L] Big brake upgrade...

Hey August,

Yep - 4 pot Volvo calipers bolt right on... Heavy cast iron units that need two brake lines per caliper.

They're nice upgrade - but I recently found that Volvo rally guys upgrade those units with 2nd gen Rx7 calipers using a simple mounting braket that can be easily made.

I haven't done the research as of yet - but they are alloy and only need the existing brake line.

The link I have is at work - but it shows some decent pics. I've also put the existing front calipers on the back and they'll bolt up with some minor modifications. You'll lose your park brake - but the volvo rally guys also document the hydraulic rear park brake mod - which I'd also like to do. (Just for motorsport use - not to be used on a street car is what I've been told.)

As for Koll thinking the Nissan motor was a Toyota... Just wait till all his Toyota Supra friends fine out about that slip up!!! LOL!

  Kevin,

Indeed an excellent find! Very interesting thread, and an entertaining   idea for sure. What catches my eye more though is the brake talk.   volvo 4pot calipers with 604 discs? anyone know anything about that?   The stock 505 turbo ABS brakes are unacceptable if you ask me (even   with Mintex pads).
