Thomas:
Before you go to the extent of pulling things apart, try what I did for my '86 505 TD, I simply removed the connector from the black box under the steering column, cleaned both pins and sockets with a mild abrasive and reconnected the two and Voila! I found the problem quite by accident, like a pigeon pecking at various dots to figure out where the grain was coming from. I wiggled the connector a few times and got a faint pulse from the master door lock and I jumped on it. It actually took several tries to get it to work consistently.

Does anyone know where the central locking relay is located on an '86 505 S TD? All of my power door locks including the fuel door/trunk don't work. I thought that it might be a relay since everything doesn't work. Any ideas?
