Agreed Peter. The A4 is a great Peugeot replacement. We have a 2000 A4
1.8T Avant Quattro. 5-speed, sport package, xenons, etc. It's great.
With 4 Blizzaks on it the thing is AMAZING in snow. The V6 is butter
smooth but the 1.8T has more tuning potential and is lighter. I haven't
done anything to our 1.8T though.
Keep and eye out for those front suspension clunks, unless you know the
control arms have been changed out. If the suspension recall check hasn't
been done on the car, get to an Audi dealer immediately because they have
an recall check that expires soon (if it's not already expired).
Good luck with it!
