[Peugeot-L] Identify N9TE vs N9TEA

I have an engine I pulled out of a junkyard car a year ago that I am going to put up on Ebay. I think it was from a 88 505 turbo. an N9TEA right?

Is there any way to tell by looking at the engine what it is? Coded on the block etc?
